Reflection Mosaics was started in August of 2020 by the artist, Giovanna Petersen.
The inspiration behind the entity was to bring local artistry and inspiration into the homes of South Africa.
What is mosaic?
Mosaic is a creative artwork made from glueing tiles/coloured glass/shell etc. onto a surface, ultimately creating a picture or image. These tiles are then held together with grout to create a unique piece of art.
All products are handmade with many hours of thought, patience and love.
All products have a sealer in the grout to protect from spillage, a paint lacquer on the wood as well as adhesive bumpers to protect the product and table top from scratches.
Your carefully handcrafted product will also be accompanied by a gift tag, where you can add your details as well as the receiver of the gift's details, for a personal touch. The tag has more information about the product and a few instructions to preserve your one of a kind art piece.
All items can be customised to your vision ie. assorted colours of the tile and grout, changing the shape of the wooden base and choosing your own finishing ribbon.
